What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

SOS MINISTRIES
MISSION FIELD: THE STREETS OF AMERICA

We Go After the One.

Inspired by Luke 15:4, SOS Ministries reaches women and men caught in human trafficking, addiction, homelessness, and exploitation.
We go where they are. We build relationships. We share the hope of Jesus Christ. And when someone is ready to leave that life behind, we help make a way out.
SOS Ministries was founded to strategically remove victims of sex trafficking.

EVERY NUMBER REPRESENTS A PERSON

Every rescue represents a life. A daughter. A son. A mother. A father. Someone who may have believed nobody was coming for them. That’s why we keep going.

AND THERE ARE MORE STILL WAITING.

INTRODUCTION TO OUR MISSION

Hope Has to Go Where People Are.

For someone trapped in trafficking or addiction, simply walking away may not seem possible. There may be nowhere safe to go. No transportation. No money. No support system. And no one they believe they can trust. That’s why SOS Ministries takes the mission to the streets. Our team goes into communities where vulnerable people are living, builds relationships with them, shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and offers hope without judgment. When someone decides they are ready to leave, we are prepared to help them take that next step toward safety, recovery, and a new life.

FROM RESCUE TO RECOVERY

How SOS Ministries Works

Leaving a dangerous situation is only the beginning of our program. Our goal is to help people move from crisis toward lasting restoration.

1. WE GO

Our mission field is the streets of America. SOS teams go into communities where trafficking, addiction, homelessness, and exploitation are taking place. We meet people where they are instead of waiting for them to find

2. WE BUILD TRUST

Real rescue begins with relationship. We spend time with people. We listen. We build friendships. We remind them that they have value, that they have not been forgotten, and that there is still hope. And above all, we share the life-changing love of Jesus Christ.

3. WE HELP THEM LEAVE

When someone makes the decision to leave a dangerous situation, timing can be critical. SOS helps coordinate the practical things that can make escape possible — transportation, temporary lodging, immediate necessities, and safe passage away from the environment they are leaving.

4. WE HELP THEM BEGIN AGAIN

Getting away is not the finish line. Whenever possible, we help connect individuals with longer-term recovery resources where they can address addiction, rebuild life skills, regain stability, and begin building a healthy, independent future.

YOU CAN BE PART OF THE MISSION

You don’t have to be on the streets with our team to help change a life.
Here are three powerful ways you can stand with SOS Ministries.

Prayer warriors

PRAY

Prayer is at the heart of this ministry.

Pray for the women and men we meet, for doors to open, and for wisdom and protection for our team. Pray for those trapped in trafficking, addiction, and homelessness to find hope, courage, and a safe way forward.

Most of all, pray that every relationship we build points people toward the love, freedom, and new life found in Jesus Christ.

Financial support is need to help women escape human trafficking

SERVE

There are many ways to put your time, abilities, and resources to work.

SOS Ministries depends on volunteers to help with transportation, fundraising, outreach, administration, events, and practical needs that keep the mission moving.

You may have exactly the skill, vehicle, connection, or availability needed to help someone take a next step toward safety, freedom, and a new beginning.

Homeless shelter

GIVE

Sometimes the difference between staying trapped and getting out is something surprisingly practical.

A gift can help provide a tank of gas, a bus ticket, a safe place to sleep, food, clothing, or transportation away from danger.

Your generosity gives SOS Ministries the ability to respond when an opportunity opens to help someone move toward safety, recovery, and a new beginning.
